I forgot to do my top 10 of 2015 books so I thought I’d do one for last year! Now it was really hard but, if I’m honest I knew what my top 3 would be haha so here we go (all book reviews for these books are available on my blog too!):
Emmy and Oliver by Robin Benway
This book was so sweet. I loved everything from start to finish, it was a real feel good book, great for a summer read!
The Rose Society by Marie Lu
The second book to the Young Elites trilogy. Just as amazing as the first and full of epic scenes. Cannot wait to read the final book!
Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare
I am still in love with the world of Shadowhunters (despite the TV show… That I am not so keen on!) Cassandra Clare made a great start to another generation of shadowhunters. Can’t wait for book 2
Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon
God this book broke me and remade me! Its one of the best books I’ve read and I cannot wait for it to become a movie!
Harry Potter and The Cursed Child
Yes it was a book of the script, yes it wasn’t actually a book and yes it was kind of fanfiction-y but WHO CARES?! It was Harry Potter and I loved it!
Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard
The second book did not disappoint one bit! God it was so good but the cliffhanger!!! GAH the third book is needed NOW!
The Art of Being Normal by Lisa Williamson
GOD! This book was brilliant. I laughed and cried and became so invested in the characters… Its a book you definetly must read!
Shatter Me trilogy by Tahereh Mafi
Yep its three books but I’m classing the trilogy as one haha! God where to begin… The way it was beautifully written, the way I love Warner, the book covers!! Brilliant trilogy!
Empire of Storms by Sarah J Maas
SARAH J MAAS IS QUEEN! The feels, the pain, the love, THE FEELS! And that ending… ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?!?! Oh and Rowan… ROWAN!
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas
Again… SARAH J MAAS IS QUEEN! God this book gave me the biggest book hangover ever! The feels, the pain, the feels, the pain. And Rhysand. RHYSAND! And Chapter 55… CHAPTER 55 *DIES*
So those were my best books.. Some for the sequel to another book and other were standalones but they were the best. If you have chance to read any of them please do!
Wonder what 2017 will bring!
